The Ek Dharani takes your privacy seriously and treats all financial information about any transaction you have with the as highly confidential. In addition, Ek Dharani does not share e-mail addresses or phone numbers of any of our donors or constituents

The deeply values all contributions to sustain our mission. To protect the privacy of our donors and their special relationship with Ek Dharani, we maintain the following policies:

We may request personal information online, such as name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card number ONLY for the purposes of accepting donations to The Ek Dharani . We will not release or use this information for any other purpose unless we have your consent. We do not trade or sell your personal information with other organisations. We offer donors the option to be recognised anonymously. Donors may request, at any time, to not receive our solicitations. Donors may request to not receive certain mailings, such as our newsletter. We do not track, collect or distribute personal information entered by those who visit our website. Personal data collected through our website is encrypted using 256-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) technology. Personal information stored in The Ek Dharani database is protected with a secured login with authentication, assignment of a unique ID to each person with computer access, regular pass code changes, and user IDs are deactivated or terminated as needed. Our hosting data server provides data protection meeting PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), encrypted communication via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology, intrusion detection for all devices and network nodes, state-of-the-art firewall infrastructure that detects malicious application attacks, virus protection, network load balancing devices via Citrix, and patch management, security and vulnerability monitoring and tracking, and SQL server attack protection via applications to detect SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting Attacks. To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organisations and causes they are asked to support.

We assure the following :

  • To be informed of the organization's mission, of the way the organization intends to use donated resources, and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.
  • Donations contributed will be used to meet the cost of Relief feeding operations of the Org. In case of any excess funds at the end of a relief service, the funds are directed towards feeding the children.
  • To be informed of the identity of those serving on the organization's governing board, and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment in its responsibilities.
  • To have access to the organization's most recent financial statements.
  • To receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition.
  • To be assured that information about their donations is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.
  • To expect that all relationships with individuals representing the organization to the donor will be professional.
  • To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organization or hired solicitors.
  • To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that the organization may intend to share.
  • To feel free to ask questions when making a donation and to receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers.

Donation Refund Policy

Ek Dharani follows a reliable refund policy to let our donors feel privileged about their association with us. We take utmost care about processing donations as per the mandates signed by our donors in the donor forms, both offline and online. However, in case of an unlikely event of an erroneous deduction or if the Donor wants to cancel/deduct the donation, Ek Dharani will respond within 60 working days from the date of receiving the complaint from donor upon receiving a formal request will complete details at ekdharanifoundation@gmail.com. The timely refund of the wrongly deduced amount will depend on type of card or method or bank used during the transaction. We would require a proof of deduction of the donation amount and a written communication to ekdharanifoundation@gmail.com for refund from the donor within two days after donation. Ek Dharani will make all efforts to transfer the amount within an additional 30 working days, after the initial processing period mentioned above, via bank account transfer to the donor who has raised a refund request. Only a bank account transfer will be possible for refunds, when complete bank details of the donor is emailed to ekdharanifoundation@gmail.com including, Name on Bank Account, Account No, IFSC Code, MICR Code, Bank Name, Bank Branch, Complete Bank Address, Type of Account (Current or Savings), all PAN No(s) & Aadhar No(s) associated with the account details provided. Only Indian Banks accounts can be provided to Ek Dharani for refunds. Ek Dharani holds the right to not process the refund and will not be held responsible if any of the details pertaining to the refund including the bank details are incorrect, incomplete or falsified in anyway.

  • In such cases (like refund or dispute) if the receipt already has been issued, then the Donor needs to first return the original receipt at our official address to proceed.
  • In the case of tax exemption certificate already issued, refund will not be possible.
